About Duchesse Kala-Kala, Founder and Managing Director
I started in 2012 as a Recruiter specialised in the clinical market. I initially focused on the French market, then gradually began working on roles throughout EMEA, North America (US & Canada) and APAC hiring permanent and freelance talents for a broad client pool across Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotechnology and CROs. Three years ago, I ventured into the technology recruitment space as well and it's been an incredible journey.
Through my career I was given the opportunity to manage and lead a diverse team of Recruiters providing (with a lot of success) permanent and freelance recruitment services to our clients across EMEA, US & Canada and APAC.
Over 10 years’ experience in the market has provided me a large candidate pool, meaningful and long-standing client relationships and a deep knowledge and understanding of the drug development process and pharmaceutical industries. I have similarly developed an enormous network in the Tech industry ranging from sales, marketing, engineering and product profiles across all seniority levels.
The idea of Duchesse Recruitment came from the fact that It had always been the plan for me to set up my own business and I am excited for what’s to come!
I am a strong believer that a recruitment agency is only ever as good as the candidates it places, so it is really down to us and the success of the projects that we work on that keeps our clients coming back to us.
